Emerging from that place we all go to in our sleep, traumgarten presents "Flowers that Bloom at Midnight” – a 30-track compilation to kick off our newly conceived label project. We call upon as our collaborators a stylistically diverse group of creatives and visionaries, unified in the desire to express our rich and profound dreamscapes through a shared electronic passion.

This compilation was originally set for a June 4th release, which had coincided with worldwide demonstrations against police brutality and racism in the wake of George Floyd’s death. Not wanting to take anything away from such a pivotal moment, we made the decision to take a step back so that the Black Lives Matter movement can take centre stage. The past couple of weeks also saw us on our own journey of soul searching where we arrived at the realisation that we, too, can do much better when it comes to inclusivity. We are committed to listening, learning and meaningful change going forward.

from the love that lives in the absence,
silence and a stream of intentions will crawl.
yet it's the love that comes from friction,
that shall make distant
sound waves
tremble
as they clash against the shores of your imagination,
i urge you to scour the beach for ear shells.
for it's only the loud that cannot hear.

and when you see Her you will know:
She had a dream

and in it, She found everything She never was,
She never wanted.
and with it, She would bond like the stars that come and go.

and from this bond, a light would be born.


a finger of each hand presses against the drums of each ear and as the surrounding sounds evaporate, a crackling voice emerges from within:
